Note: My Crow is 80% of the original.
BEGIN:
1 - cut out the pattern for the black line. Also cut out the line that corresponds to the wing as shown in the photo.
2 - With a white pencil draw the outline of the pattern a layer of fabric. With the same pencil make a line in the hole for the wing, this will be the opening to turn the piece.
3 - Now we have to make a sandwich. The position and order of the layers of fabric and padding is important.
-first position in the fabric will be placed where we set the pattern. This fabric is the BACK OF THE CROW .
"Secondly there is another piece of cloth. Our fabric is a solid black with no upside down or right, so then we put the first no more.
-Third post the batting. The fabric that we have and batting second will be the FRONT in Fig. We advise you to do a mark to know that some leading batting.

4 - The same steps until now repeat with the two wings. First draw the outline of a layer of fabric.
5 - After we scored the opening where they will turn around.
6 - Finally, make the sandwich and then machine stitch along the pencil line.
7 - You can cut the opening before sewing machine. If you see it in black, this may done after stitching the outline but taking care not going to cut more than a layer of fabric.
8 - In the picture are marked to be given stitches after cutting the outline of the shape leaving 3mm margin. After all the pieces to sewing machine and finish it at the beginning and end of sewing, Trim the batting to the seam line as we did in the cat and the lion. Stitch to sew the pieces are small.
figure was so after the cut stitched and quilted the entire margin.
9 - The wings have a bite as shown in the picture to avoid giving back to the room to form sharp spikes in the convex areas have quilted.
10 - The next step is to turn the wings and body of the crow. It is not difficult to turn to these pieces because they have a large opening in relation to its size but also in this case we used the "tour" because, using it, the cuts in the fabric for the opening just become frayed.

11 - Now, as always, make reference marks to properly position the wings and eyes. Mark the dot of eye and the contour of the wings, then do the same operation on the other side of the body.
So will the reference marks.
12 - Fill the body and wings slightly. As before, it gets a little padding on the tips of the wings, beak and tail, push with the screwdriver and filling continues until finished.
13 - Now close the openings. We've enclosed by an crucetilla made with black thread.

14-sew wings to body with a hidden stitch. Sew the wings at the same height and a good seal the opening where we turned the piece. Do not sew up the very tip of the wing, leaving this a little loose.
15 - Now the eyes. First we have to make two small circles of felt. You can use a men's shirt button, that you go round. Trim.
16 - To sew the eyes, first gets the needle through the reference point on the opposite side that we are doing and point out for the eye that we do, then gets into needle felt circle and finally the black beads, then pass the needle across of the face and repeat the operation with felt and beads. Finish off.
17 - Now the legs. Cut a piece of black wire about 20 cm. long, thickness is your choice, we have used it a bit thicker than 0.60 mm.
At one end of the wire make a " M" with rounded toe curling .......
At one end of the wire make a " M" with rounded toe curling .......
18 -... support the "M" on a table and turned to 90 degrees the rest of the wire. We already have a leg .... (See photo).
19 -... wool needle make a hole in the belly of the crow ....
20 -... introduce the other end of the wire through the hole in the belly and about 3.5 cm from the point where we made the 90-degree angle to bend the wire back. The challenge is to repeat all the steps above to make two equal legs. Lucky
is to peels of laughter, but the legs do the same, the crow was still standing and all
Note: We are in the summer and there are things that have been used (in the original book) to decorate the July figures are impossible to find. The crow of the book is a miniature tinsel collar around the neck which is very nice but ... we've managed with a simple loop. We hope that as you approach the winter holiday find something to adorn it. Go compiling a list of things to buy for the wreath "Decorations and Charms" ...
