Note: The butterfly has no reduction. The wings are 70% of the original.
BEGIN:
THE WINGS OF THE BUTTERFLY.
1 - The process for these wings is the same as always. First copy the pattern of two layers of red felt and mark the opening will be situated right in the center as shown in the photo. This opening is hidden when we place upon it the throttle body.
2 - sew a stitch machine with a small and important do four pickets. Pickets will be placed in the concave areas of the wings. We must also make a cut (in a single layer of fabric) to turn the piece. See photo.
3 - After turning the piece is marked reference points for embroidering the stars, so this operation is used a marker of water or a soft pencil, made holes in the pattern where there are stars and this is marked placed just above the piece of felt you have finished turning around. Focus the pattern to mark these points.
4 - This will be the benchmarks for embroidery.
5 - Before embroidering, fill the room with wadding and close the opening with a crucetilla. After these two operations made the stars are embroidered with two strands of mouliné yellow or gold.
THE BODY OF THE BUTTERFLY.
1 - With a soft pencil or pen to copy the outline of the water pattern on a layer of fabric. It copies only the outline. The opening to turn the piece is located at the base , remember that this part does not sew. Make your neck a little longer (see photo) not to pull too much on turning the figure.
2 - then you must copy the outline and facial features in another layer of fabric. It is advisable water use a pen for this operation.
3 - Now are matched exactly, especially the part corresponding to the head and face, the outline that we have passed to a layer of fabric and contour to the features that we have drawn on another piece of cloth . With pins to make sure it does not move and put the padding back to the sandwich.
4 - Before we can remove the pins to baste it is easier to sew the machining contour. We have placed the pickets to be given after cutting the outline right in the neck (see photo). The marks are on the sides the body, not sewn are holes to put their arms after the end of the figure.
5 - This figure will be cut after the contour along the lines of stitching, after removing the padding and margin to the pickets below the neck and around the head.
6 - In the original figure's arms and legs are sticks. We have done the fabric and the process to perform the same as what we did in A Simple Angel. "
7 - Cut a long strip of meat color solid 2.5 -3 cm wide by 25-30 cm long and is divided into 4 roughly equal pieces. In the line that forms a semicircle Do the division as shown in the photo and then coséis machine along the lines you have painted. Bias tape tour is necessary to turn the tube so narrow.
8 - These are the arms and legs cut off and flipped once, the next step is to fill them with a screwdriver, very little, without going to the landfill on the edge and getting very little filler time.
These are the arms once filled.
9 - This is the doll with arms and legs. The legs have to position them on the basis of the body and a fix to the fabric basting later to give them a sewing machine.
arms get into the holes in the body that have been without stitches and fastened with hand-made stitches.
10 - Now we start to paint the face. The brush is the triple zero, as always, and the paint is going to use white, red and black acrylic.
First paint the globe ....
... after the pupil. Let it dry well.
11 - Now we have the upper eyelid and the white point inside the pupil.
12 - Finally, and in this order: nose, mouth, flush and knotted hair.
CLOTHING.
This is the dress pattern of the butterfly. What you have put into the grid from the bottom you do it yourselves. It is very easy to make from a rectangle of 7 cm x 8 cm. If in doubt just ask on the blog.
1 - In a white embroidered cloth trim dress. We used point of stem (branch) point daisy (branch leaves) point and released (for loop). We have embroidered with one strand in a skein of DMC in dark brown, pale green and red.
2 - Copy the pattern worn by the wrong side of that is the embroidery and trimmed leaving 0.5 cm margins.
Then we make another pattern on another piece of cloth, trimmed leaving the same margin as before. Remember to mark the opening of the neck and arm openings.
3 - I sew around leaving openings to put the arms, neck opening and the low without sewing. Finish off the start and finish sewing.
4 - Finally We return to a lace dress and cosermos very close in the low to finish the edge. Then he given a stitching machine to grip the lower dress and legs simultaneously. Finish off well.
